Picked up a Kershaw Leek the other day. Great little knife for the money. VERY sharp. So sharp I don't even want to use it. If you guys don't get a knife from amazon, get one from kershawguy.

He gets factory rejects for cheap and sells them for nearly as cheap. Supposedly all of them are visual blemishes, nothing actually malfunctioning. I may pick up a small assisted opener from him, for work. The Leek I got is flawless. I don't even see how it's a factory blemish.

Thanks for the info Quickdraw, I had no idea that site even existed. His Leeks are at least $10 cheaper than new ones from Amazon. Great deal!

Sorry for the ignorant question, but what is so special about Kershaw Leeks?

Kershaw knives in general are overall very decent, well made knives. A good number of them are still made in the USA. Also, free repairs and sharpening for life!

I just happen to enjoy the styling of the Leeks... has a nice sleek and refined look. The Leek also has the spring assist and "flipper" which makes them very easy and enjoyable to open.

No problem! The only drawback I see is that they don't come with the warranty or sharpening because it's not purchased through Kershaw. But, for a beater, they're near dirt cheap for the quality. Like I said, I don't even see how my Leek was a, "factory blemish." It seems perfect.

For me, it's about the quality, price, and it's birthplace.
Top quality, low prices, made in America.
