Hi Todd,
First let me start by apologizing for the huge delays you've experienced regarding the shipment of your order and the spotty customer service you've experienced in the meantime. When we cut off the online sales the backlog that had built up essentially imploded on us and almost put us under. We've been struggling for the past few months but luckily we've found ourselves back on somewhat firm ground so much so that we've begun to start shipping orders out the door again toward the backlog. We have 2 more weeks of March to go through before we can begin on the April orders so I would say that looking at the date of your orders you're going to have a couple more months of wait time before it can ship. What we've begun to do in the meantime is offer up order conversions to those of you that do not wish to wait any longer. The best caliber for the conversions is 45 ACP but we do have other options available. I'm real sorry for the inconvenience we've caused you as none of this was our intent.

We just got a barrel of 40 bullets in last week and we should be able to load out the entire barrel by the end of next week. The barrel will allow us to make 65 cases of which 15 will be sent out toward the backlog while the rest will go toward buying another barrel and components for an additional 65 cases so that we can keep the turnover rate high and the cases going out the door. I just did a quick count for ya and you're 8 cases from the top of the 40 list. I'm interested to see if you would be interested in purchasing an additional case that would ship with the case you've been waiting for. It would be for the same $200 value except the shipping would not be free. I'm just trying to help our turnover rate. After the backlog is taken care of, our prices will be going up and so I'm just trying to give you an opportunity to maybe snag another case before that happens. Let me know! If not, you're ammo will be coming soon!

I would be excited to be given this kind of customer service if I KNEW my order would come. Unfortunately, they've had my money since April so I'd feel like a real jackass if I put up another $200+shipping for ammo that I may never receive.

Anyone recieve a call from Jack Ross Ammo Last week?

I had an order in the mid 800's for 500 9mm reloads. Got a call from jack ross last thursday, who basically told me 9mm reloads are gonna be a long time coming. But that they did said I could change my order to anything they had available, I ended up changing from 9mm to .40.

Well its been a while since my original order but today they arrived, not the 500 9mm I ordered but 300 .40 instead. I guess something is better than nothing. And since I am broke as a joke these .40's will work perfectly for a x-mas gift for my bro. Also considering that I dont even own a .40 caliber firearm lol.

On a side note, the lady who called me from JR was extremely nice and went into detail into what happened with them. She was also excited that I was polite to her as well, I can only imagine what some of yall said to this women.

Ive only purchased the 45acp and 9mm. It shoots clean and it has been problem free. The 45acp I got was pretty hot stuff. The indoor range I use it at wanted to inspect it. It was really loud and had big muzzle flash. It handles like +p but they say it isnt. I purchase all mine at show and not rely on shipping.

For being '8 cases from the top', this sure is taking a while... Now they're blaming the ammo/supply shortage which would be completely understandable if I had placed an order in the last couple months... but there was no shortage in early April!

Basically what it boils down to is they've spent all our money and they need to keep making new sales to stay afloat so they put us on the back-burner.

Sorry for the delays but the Sandy Hook tragedy has been one hell of a pain in the *** when talking about trying to keep a constant supply chain going. When your case is ready would you like for me to call you to see if you're still interested in an additional case? They would ship at the same time as I wouldn't call you unless I have it on a pallet ready to go.
