Apache 9800 rifle case $99 @ Harbor Freight

It's $99 for club members right now, and $99 on Friday March 8 for everybody.
Good reviews and good when traveling without spending on a pelican. Just finished my ar10 and need a case so I'll give this a shot.

It’s a great case. I have flown with one many times with zero issues.

Thanks, I may pick one up.

I assume you meant March 8th for everyone

Was looking that case over at HF the other day. Solid product.

I bought the pistol/carry-on size case and flew back from Cali. One of the lock points broke off in checked baggage. One flight.

Brought it back to HF for a refund next time down there and the clerk didn’t even ask, just refunded my money.

Hecho en Chine, and you’re getting less than the quality that you are paying for.

I bought the larger suitcase size case a few years ago.deliberately ran it over with the wifes car to see if it would hold the weight.it slipped so i used the diesel and a curb to hold it.shattered in a dozen a pieces HF didnt bat an eyeball with the receipt

Would be interesting to try that with a Pelican case and see how they do. I have 3 pelicans which I really like. Look nib even after numerous flights

We use both Harbor Freight and Pelican cases of various size. There is no comparison. The Harbor Freight cases are junk.
