      Looks like I missed this.

Do they have these only once a year?

Got to the one in Rocklin around 0800. Wife and I were 24/25 in line. Parents got there a little after 0900 after they opened and were 159/160. Loaded cart with ~$1000 of shooting supplies and got nothing but 5%, so I put the cart back.

I dont know why they wont let you pop on the way in. If I knew I only had 5% I still would have purchased at least something, just not a lot.

Also when they dont have large carts, you cannot load up safes/BBQs anyways.

I might try again next year without the wife.

That's usually the experience. But if you pop it on the way in and say you got 100%, then you'd load the whole store in your cart, right?

I just think that the 5% denomination needs to go away to truly make it an effective sale where people aren't putting their items back. I'd bet there's only 2 100%, 1 for the front, 1 for the gun, maybe 4 50%, 10 25%, and you can guess the continuation.

A lot of times, why bother with gambling the 5/10 or even 15% off when you can get their 15% off code from the website to buy anything online that isn't guns or ammo.

Only if buying guns and ammo, is going in for a discount is worth it to an extent. Even if they used a marketing trick where all guns are MSRP, a 10% off, at minimum, as would be in a regular sale would entice people to continue buying and they'll still make a profit.

The email listed the following this time:

              3 x 100%
              4 x 50%
              20 x 25%
              45 x 20%
              60 x 15%
              165 x 10%
              203 x 5%

Best part is half the items in the store ar

Why wouldn't you just order the one on amazon then?

I?m done with sportsman?s after the transaction I am going through with them for a firearm. I recently made an appointment for dros and had to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. The workers ignored me from the get go but i did let them know that I had an appointment. From here on out no more big box stores for me.

I drove by at 8:57 AM and there must have been 100 people already waiting in line. I came back around 2 PM and they still had many balloons but, they said it was a 5-6 hour wait on firearms. Got a steel target instead because I wanted to pop a ballon. It was only 10%.

I got a 15% off which brought my Ruger MkIV Tactical down to normal Buds price lol. I did have to wait 30 min to get seen at the gun counter, paperwork 10 minutes, CCW means I didn't have to wait for it to come back approved or not so I paid and took home my gun.

Also got a Ruger 10/22 pellet rifle (made by Umarex) it was $58 after balloon discount. We'll see how well that functions, gonna use it for a backyard Appleseed trainer

I did on the way out the store.
Was going shooting The next day with my boys visiting from out of state so It was a timing thing. Have had some non price match isues in past at this location. This was my 1st try at that. All in all I have bought 5 firearms & 5k in other stuff their last 2 yrs & have had a sour taste a couple times from things like missing parts & damage on new firearms at pick up to missing primers from new boxes. At this location it always felt like a war to get resolved.
