    2-Pack Baofeng UV-5R Radio $30

Not strictly firearm related but figured some of you are interested in comms. Not gonna find a better entry level radio for the money IMO. Comes with the full kit for each one (antennas, battery, chargers, headset earpieces). This $15 each deal is the lowest i?ve seen it

great price. I just bought some last month for 30.07 per pair. Going to try to program them today with Chirp. Great for SHTF situations.

Thanks Prepper, was able to order a pair. Thought about it and tried to order two pair, but only one pair can be ordered at the sale price.

Did anyone get them yet? Some bad reviews:

Had them for a week now and the barely pick up ANYTHING including local police. Have set up properly with upgraded antenna?s even sucks. GRMS is worthless to. Can?t fit a repeater 5 miles from me! Complete garbage imo. Will most likely return.

Interesting. I have a pair from about a year ago and they work pretty well. I found it interesting that nowhere on the packaging or manuals do they mention Baofeng at all, just on the radios themselves. Could they be Chinese knockoffs? 🤔😎

My pair arrived today, and I set them up to communicate with my GMRS Midland's. Haven't tested for range yet, but they work fine around the house.

I'm leaning towards returning mine. As others have mentioned mine have no mention of Baofeng on the box nor manuals. In the reviews I've seen the box with Baofeng labeling while other reviewers received no manufacturer's labeling.

Range on mine seems the same as an old uv5r I have, no noticeable difference.

Years ago the factory programming software was loaded with spyware.

                    So people used 3rd party

                    Is it still this way?
