        I got an email for it earlier today. I have 24 hours to buy one but don't really want or need it. I just signed up like everyone else did because of the hype

        I did buy a couple of Fire Stick 4K Max units at $24 each since I'll use one on our main TV and might use the other on a spare. Otherwise I'll just save it or return it.

                                    I received an email today from Amazon saying that they ran out of invites for the 43" so the 32" is on sale for $99.
                                    I'm tempted to snag one just for my camera system but was looking forward to the 43" ....

                                                    Eh. The ratio isnt that bad. It was probably 100 units. It is obvious amazon wouldnt have enough for everyone.

                                                    Also I doubt this helped drive ppl to shop on prime day. Since it was by email alert one could have just signed up only for this and never visit the site until the email came in.

                                                    Imo this was amazon's test to combat scalpers / bot buyers that are now rampant. Buying up stock in milliseconds for low stock items which then only fuels dissapointment in customers which then turns customers away from future sales.
