In for one for my scouts they said that the other kids said they had a rich person tent. It is the pop-up tent from the deal about a year ago lol

In for one. We have a few tents, but I like the pop-up feature. Don't really camp these days, but we'll see how the grand-kids like playing in it.

I've wanted to try a pop up tent but haven't wanted to spend the money since, I have several dome tents already. I'll finally get to try a pop up one tomorrow. Thanks!

If you watch the video in the Amazon description this seems to be a newer design than the traditional / original style shaped pop-up tents.
I don't know if that's better or worse because the video was edited on the setup and they didn't show the takedown.
I think it may be a few seconds more to set up but the real question is about how much of a pain it is/ time it takes putting it back in its round flat bag. It might even be easier than the original style.

At that price though, you can't go wrong.

I appreciate info Sean. I ordered one for wildlife viewing down in my canyon for deer, bobcat, coyotes, and foxes. I have also had recent visits by a 350 lb bear and do not want to encounter that or a mountain lion during my wildlife observation unless they stay at a safe distance.

I may also see how it works as a camouflage for getting some of those pesky ground squirrels that continue to outsmart me and my .25 cal pcp pellet rifle.

Got mine last night. It's not bad for the price but, I wouldn't say that more than two adults would be comfortable sleeping in it. It is NOT "super light duty". If anything, it's actually a bit heavier than my old dome tents. It sets up in a flash. I'll take it down later today and report back. It has a front and a back door too.

In packing mine up, one of the poles was partially out of the twist lock and the twist lock broke sending the pole through the material.

Return it to Amazon as 'Defective' and order another. They'll just 'damage' it out and be a tax write off (with a million of other items) .
