    How does this work? I tried to put a $100 GC in my cart and it says nothing about the $25 GC freebie.

      So I ordered the $100 GC a couple days ago. There was no mention of the promotion in the cart or even after I placed the order. But I did just get an email with the $25 promo card, so I think they are sending these out manually after the order is fulfilled.

      And it seems to work even if you pay for the new gift card with existing gift card also.

        any idea if you could purchase several with this promotion?
        follow-up: i spoke with someone at Brownells and they informed me that they didn't limit the number of gift cards and that you could combine all your gift cards for a single purchase.

              gunnut, not sure if i'm answering your question but here goes:

              let's say your goal is to get $2000 in $25 gift cards....that would be 2000/25=80 gift cards needed to equal $2000

              80 $25 gift cards would cost you...80x$100 = $8000

              basically take .25 and multiply it by the total number of dollars you are willing to spend and that would give you the answer in total value of gift cards.
              so for the example above........(.25 x $8000) = $2000

                  simple math is that for $400 of your money spent you get $100 for free.

                  so once you spend $400 of your own money, any amount after that is all free money.

                  use the $100 to buy another $100 GC to gain another $25, and then once you do that 4 times, you have another $100 of free money. now you can buy $200 gc at once to gain $50 free.

                    I only made a single purchase and was frankly a bit surprised it worked. I still have a few hundred dollars of GC at Brownells and am thinking to try again. Worse that can happen is I end up with the same amount of GC as I did before.

                          heck, even just $100 investment will work. since you can use the $100 initial GC purchase to buy another $100 GC. this will slow down the process since you would have to make this purchase 4 times before you can then double it to $200 at a time. but if this doesn't trigger a flag in brownell's system, once you doubled your money, it just gets quicker and quicker to earn more money.

                            just wanted to share, I just purchased a $1200 gift card with the credova financing, I have 90 days to pay that back interest free - I knew what I wanted and was going to buy anyway, calculated the final price, went this route and will now see if there is any black Friday deal to layer onto it.

                            I literally just did this, so I'm not 100% certain my diabolical plan will work, waiting to see if I get a - not so fast sonny email from them...stay tuned

                              Let us know. I can't see why it won't work since you are paying them with money they don't already have. If they don't honor the deal you should press them on it.

                              On the other hand they might have disabled checking out while using GC as payment. I got an error late last night when I tried.
