There are so many fake 3M masks in circulation, I just couldn't spend the extra $$ unless I was buying from a known good source.

People are interested in N95s for many reasons other than Covid. As you stated, those Costco ones are worthless.

I use N95 to mow the lawn, too much leaf and dust, can be seen on the white mask afterwards. Might as well not have that in the lungs. Have had N95 for years. For sawdust in the garage workshop too. $1.30 is nothing really.
