Depending on the projectile and barrel length, these will dimple within 100 yards.

Sounds like a good option to shoot with higher caliber stuff and replace once they get dimple

They have guidelines on their site as to caliber, distance and plate thickness. Just remember to flip the plate over from time to time so it doesn’t cup.
