That's something you have to decide. I do occasionally adjust a rifle's stock depending on shooting position, but the folding function is almost never used. I find folders usable only for a backpack gun. For storage in the safe, I personally find it better to leave the stock extended as lateral space is more at a premium than longitudinal.

I just want a cheek riser since I mounted an optic and the oem stock doesnt have the cheek riser.

I bought a fixed acr stock. And the cz805 adaptor isn’t the same

What's the difference between the Bushmaster ACR and the Magpul ACR? ....They look the same to me?

The fixed ACR stock also doesn't fit most of the adaptors. Most, if not all, adaptors use the ACR hinge interface.

They're the same. Magpul sold the Masada design to Bushmaster.

Then Remington bought Bushmaster.

Then Remington discontinued Bushmaster

My version is the solid stock with the folding button pinned. So the oem cheek pad/riser doesn't fit iirc. the oem telescoping stock has the cheek pad/riser included.
