i've been using mine for a year or two, works great.

The only thing i should probably mention is that it can get just a little bit messy with shavings after a while so i keep a towel or a small catch under the front end just in case.

Good to know. Thanks. I ordered one, so that will come in handy.
There was also a few suggestions in the reviews. Possibly change out the cutting head with a Hornady cutter/pilot assembly (the original cutting head has no pilot in the center of it)

I love mine. You need to upgrade the trimmer to a rcbs but it’s great. I do my work in a cardboard box and just dump the shavings after

Thanks for the heads up OP. I've had this on my wishlist for some time now. Been using the lyman e-zee hand trimmer and the last batch of 200 or so .223 got me looking for an alternative.

Giraud Power Trimmer + RCBS prep center for me, i think upside down motion is more ergonomic compared to a sideways motion.

Would love a Giraud. But I had to weight economic vs ergonomic.

I know the saying "buy once, cry once" but for the amount of trimming I do I figured $135 for outweighs $625 for the Giraud/RCBS combo.

No, no, not the huge Giraud trimmer , the one that goes on a drill. Its like 100$

Those are the Giraud Tri-Way Trimmers. They trim, chamfer, and deburr in one step.

Those seem good if you only load one size. My understanding is you need one for each different caliber. I have about 10 different calibers I can load. That would be cost prohibitive for me.

To those that own/use these Frankford units, do all your stations run true? Reading through the reviews on Midway & Amazon, there seem to be a fair amount complaining about this issue.

It looks like they are caliber specific for the trimmer/pilot combo.
