My PSA order was cancelled . I was lucky and got 2 other orders from different suppliers . Here is the content of the email from PSA.

On March 29, 2019, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California held that California Penal Code Section 32310, which banned magazines with a capacity greater than ten rounds, was unconstitutional and enjoined enforcement of that code section.

In keeping with our mission to manufacture firearms and accessories that provide the maximum benefits of freedom at a competitive price point, Palmetto State Armory proudly became one of the first firearms manufacturers in the country to begin accepting and shipping orders for magazines with a capacity greater than ten rounds to the state of California. We were so successful in our effort that the anti-gun, political players in California used our Facebook and Instagram posts as an exhibit in their motion to the court objecting to the decision.

On April 4, 2019, the District Court entered a stay on its initial ruling in order to allow the case to be heard by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals but allowed Californians to continue to purchase magazines until 5:00 pm PST on Friday, April 5. On the advice of legal counsel, and in light of hyper-aggressive tactics and harassment by anti-Second Amendment prosecutors in California who have already referenced Palmetto State Armory, to comply with the federal court order only those sales that were processed and shipped by 5:00 pm PSA on Friday April 5, 2019, are completed.

Unfortunately, and despite doubling the personnel and using best effort to handle orders on Friday, we were unable to ship your order before the by 5:00 PST deadline. Below is a 10% coupon code for the inconvenience. Please allow 2-3 days for funds to be posted back into your account.

I was just thinking this, I would have gladly paid 3 times what a normal mag is worth.

Posted below. I didn’t even get an email, just seeing from friends

Hence why I won’t buy from them again.

Did you try to contact them at all? PSA is generally pretty responsive in my past experience. Give them a chance to fix it. Their normal order volume (which is already huge) was made exponentially bigger during that week of freedom.

Sorry for the noob question. Since the ban is now back on, isn't illegal to posses any High cap or "standard cap" as everyone is all of a sudden calling them?

I'll shoot it on an Atlas bipod like I normally do. Any Rambo work will be done with 10-30 round mags.

Every gun I've bought has been online. Most have been FFL'd in Florida. I save a min of $100 after all set and done, most in the $200 range. How?? No tax, $25 FFL fee, and much cheaper base price.

PS: Before the FL law changed, making us wait 3 days, it never, never took me longer than 10 minutes to go out the door with my purchase.

I think it's cool that they're giving a little back to help our cause. But I don't doubt for a minute that they think it's a good financial move as well. They realized during freedom week what kind of purchasing power is in California.

Numpy has a great point and something those of us in free states actually felt. Could not buy any mags as Calguns (which is just this subset of CA gun owners) essentially bought out the national supply of most popular mags from online retailers mag stock in 2-3 days!!

If we could get the actual numbers, I am sure it would make many a BS lawmakers head spin.

Disappointing with PS. I think explains how so many mags are back in stock so quickly. I just ordered some of the D&H's yesterday and got the shipping notice today, which has never happended on any order with them.
Sorry to hear that for you guys, sucks.

I actually held off from buying mags that week, just to make sure Calgunners in CA* can get as many as possible.

I bet many online stores tried to re-order more magazines from their suppliers to fulfill the demand. If Mag Freedom Week had lasted longer, the stores would have resupplied. Notice Botach got a second batch of Magpul D-60 drums within a day after their $99.95 special went OOS. Too bad CA-DOJ moved so quickly to obtain a stay on Benitez's decision. (That was amazing, wasn't Monday 4/1 Cesar Chavez Day? Weren't those state employees supposed to be taking their 3-day weekend off?)

                              * Yes, I think there should be such a phrase "Calgunners in CA" to distinguish ex-patriates like us. Not all Calgunners are in CA anymore, Toto.
