Nice! Just picked up three as stocking stuffers for my boys. Hopefully it will encourage them to take better notes in class. Lol.

On iPhones/Pad the Rocketbook AP needs iOs 9.0 or higher, which I think is available on just about any i device but the original version 1. RocketBook AP has a built in scanner.

The scanned page does not look like an image, it looks like text (but it is not text). But it is a nice image, not tilted or crooked etc. like it could be with a inkjet/fax/scanner.

If you have a scanner AP on your device (e.g. phone) with OCR, then you can make it editable text very quickly (search Youtube for how to do that with Rocketbook).

I ordered a rocketbook. In the past I never used a laptop or phone to put down reloading info at the bench nor record the metal signpost road numbers on National Forest roads which weren't shown on the Forest Service map, as I scouted for camp spots etc. But wrote them down in a notebook and then scanned them with a scanner. This should work better and I get them stored online right at the bench or in the field without having to type text on a teeny iPhone keyboard.

Does it really work well? I bought the exec size from the Treasure Truck yesterday, but haven't tried it yet. I want to buy one for my college bound niece it it's worth it. I'm a little worried about how handy it is compared to pen and paper note taking.

My phone comes with it's own stylus and you can write anything you want down on the screen and it stores it. Or you can forward it any way you want. It's all part of the phone.

Yeah, but I do better with pen and paper when busy instead of drawing on a screen. Like on a booking ledger for reloading. The Rocketbook has tiny squares to keep things in columns and rows. But the squares disappear when storing the image.
