I went into Big 5 expecting to get a rebate form from the store but instead they took my email address and went through a very convoluted special order procedure to get a form emailed to me by Monday. Anyone have the same experience?

Good more for me I saw the cost on these and dicks is losing $4 each before rebate the normal price is $69.99 the sale is $49 and the $10 off is $4 under their $44 cost

Anyone who seriously believes that "cost" is the same for everyone is probably dumb enough to buy from Dick's.

Actually, a Calguns strategy of buying only deep sale items from Dicks isn't a bad idea.

Best Buy had that problem a few years go where a large group of folks was hitting only their deepest sales and it cost them a lot of money.

Retailers want you to buy a loss leader PLUS a bunch of other items so the overall customer transaction will be profitable. It goes horribly wrong when you buy the cheap stuff only.
