Finally got my order thru. Google Chrome and Mozilla on my desktop wouldnt let me add anything to the cart.

Had to place my order on my iPhone. 10 cans for $19.59:-)

I don't know what happened but when I ordered two cans of the Gunk brake cleaner online for pickup at my local store, I got two email confirmations. One said I bought 2 cans and the other said I bought 4 cans. When I went to pick up I was charged $4.82 (plus tax) for 4 cans. Score!

I ordered six cans yesterday. Manager called me next day saying they only had 8 of the 12 I ordered. I said I only ordered six but I'd take the eight and would pick-up that night. Get a email saying order for six cancelled. Stop by store and Manager tries to overcharge me saying she could either give me a 20% discount or BOGO but not both.

I said when ordered online you got both a 25% discount and BOGO and showed her the original total for the six @ $11.64 on my phone. She's struggling to figure how to game the stores system to give me the online deal and it's taking 4ever. She finally just runs my card for $10.40 and says have a nice night - 8 cans at $1.30 each OTD!

Got a call from my local Pep Boys. Said they are out of the Gunk and they are ordering 10 from another store. They're suppose to call me when they get shipment. I printed out my receipt. 10 cans for $19.59 OTD.

Went back to their website today. The BOGO and 25% is only good up to 4 cans. After that the BOGO goes away and you only get the 25%. Funny thing is I still can't add anything to the cart. Even after their website maintenance last nite.

The store I ordered it to was oos too, you need to call the stores and have someone walk over and see they're physically there, then order online using that store and pick up there.

I set up the pep boys account.

I order online and it’s a lot cheaper than in store.

Same with car repairs. They let me order AC compressors online and then the service department installed them.

Labor was the same - parts were 25%-35% cheaper as I ordered them from the app while standing in the store.

It seems like the online division is competing with the instore division.

I’ll play the game and grab the savings
