This is a good beginner, entry level, hobby grade bashing truck for 30% off. I have not seen this brand ever be on sale before (since the Traxxas lawsuit)....
I have been getting my kids into RC for a short while, and have learned that toy grade can be fun, but hobby grade is much better in the long run.
It is ready to run out of the box (minus 4 AA batteries for the controller).

I purchased one for my youngest last Ebay sale and got it for $115 delivered and thought I got a good deal. I purchased a second for my older one at this price. I took it out of the box and took pictures of it next to my ERevo for comparison. In fairness the ERevo is a 1/8 scale truck where the Granite is 1/10.
