It dawned on me after posting that 2% applies to components as well.
So no loss. Or gain.

If anyone is going to order a firearm from Cabelas and wants to save an extra 1% (so a total of 2%) use Swagbucks instead of Active Junky. They don't have restrictions on what you can buy to get their rewards but you do have to buy gift cards through their website so not as convienent as just getting a check from AJ (the rewards can be much better though, have gotten as much as 15% back from huge ammo orders in the past).
