      You guys did stock up on those 20% off giftcards from eBay, didn't you? Still available.

      Or those 24% off giftcards from Raise a few days ago? Those are gone

        Trijicon ACOG 4x32 as low as $741 "with the usual bag of tricks" - who was the first Calgunner who said that?4x32 USMC Rifle Combat Optic with red chevron reticle and Target Reference for $876 (disclaimer: "with the usual bag of tricks")
        Try to beat that price (Chinese knock offs don't count LOL).

            There are very few things in the hunting and shooting category that are on sale now. The Blazer handgun ammo is still on sale, with the 9 mm coming in around 14 cpr plus tax using our "bag of tricks". New flier came out starting the 24th. I see my favorite safe is on sale again, the Fat Boy Jr. It was a bit cheaper due to a 10% off'er when I bought mine. I also see the new Hornady Frontier is going on sale. I just received a couple of boxes of the 223 from Brownell's on Saturday. I'll try to shoot some this week and see if they are a "go" for me during the sale.

              If the stars and planets align...

              Safeway had a "Just for You" special on $100 VISA prepaid cards for $95. That is a 5% discount.

              Pay for those cards with my Cabela's VISA and get 1% Cabela's points

              Use that Safeway prepaid VISA card on Raise when they have an additional 5%-10% off special for a total of 18%-23% OFF Cabela's gift cards.

              Wait for Cabela's to have a 10% off sale with free shipping.

              Use Active Junky 7%-15% off.

              Total = 41% - 54% off.

                It is fishing season. Some of us have an addiction to buying fishing gear we never, or seldom, use.

                I just bought 3 new poles.

                  I know exactly what you mean, although I'm at the opposite end of the totem pole. My fishing and boating days are drawing to a close here in FL. In my first of many garage sales, I sold just about all my very old Shimano rods and reels. I was surprised how many "grandpa's" wanted a few cheap set ups. I've always taken very good care of them but was glad to get $25-$30 a set up for them. I even got $150 a couple of Penn reels that I bought 30 years ago for $80 each.

                  Now I have a zillion lures that no one wants, although I also sold a bunch of them by putting ten of those those Bill Dance lures in biggies and sold them for $30 a bag. They sold out too, but were easy to part with. Now comes the hard to part stuff.

                    It's going to be harder to find reloading deals under BP ownership.

                    They increased all Hornady projectile prices by over 10%.

                    For example, a 1000-ct box of Horandy .224 projectiles used to cost $86.99, but now it's up to $96.99. Even being "on sale" for 20% off, they are the same price as when the old Cabela's had 'em on sale at 9% off.
