    San Diego - 1,500 rounds of 9MM reloads for $300 (+ Tax)

Just discovered San Diego has an LAX ammo retail store...

    4411 Mercury St Ste 103
    San Diego CA, 92111
    Phone: (858)987-0509

They have a great deal on 9MM ammo (details in thread title), and there is no need to pay for parking and admission to the gun show just for ammo.
They have an incredible selection and the prices are good for a retail store.

    * I am in no way affiliated with this store, I just want to share this for the San Diego shooters who like me were unaware of this place.

Yeah I saw them over by Mission Valley somewhere. $0.20 a round is pretty amazing it almost makes me wonder what the quality is. Has anyone purchase this that can attest to the quality?

Edit: sorry this is really early in the morning and I was in traffic obviously didn't do my math very well haha. I'm actually usually pretty math inclined however there's not much proof of that right now.

LAX isnt prefect its decent quality. Where do you see $0.05 a round?
        $300+tax for 1500 is $0.20 a round for reloaded 9mm...
While not bad in CA you can easily find new 9mm ammo for that out of state. **** even wallyworld is about that price.

Many have good luck with their ammo, I personally have not. I bought a case of 1000 rounds of their new stuff. It never ejects properly would jam every 10 or so rounds.

My grip with LAX ammo is they advertise a decent price online and then hike Up the price in store. Last time I went they told me it’s their “handling” fee. Not a fan of over priced ammo.

Lmao! Damn common core lol! Screw this deal Turners has new ammo at this price weekly, walmart beats it on the daily and certain online retailers that ship to stores in Cali beat that deal every now and then also.
You only get one chance. So take a breath, line up your sights, and gently squeeze... Good luck.

As mentioned, this is $10/box for so-so reloads. Turners has factory on sale now for $8.98/box.

Cheaper to hit Wally's for the Federal or Winchester - it all goes bang.

                          LAX reloads...not so much.

LOL... i had to do the math too, and I was like huh, isnt this a standard price? 20 cents per rd?

I generally use 20 cents a rd as a guideline for all my 115gr 9mm brass purchases. within a couple of cents for higher gr or better brands.

wouldn't roll the dice on reload ammo unless its from a known manufacturer like LAX or freedommunition. even then it'll have to be about 15 cents per rd, the duds and danger of reloads are not really worth harming your gun.

This is like the opposite of a deal. Lol.
