Active Junky and Gear Obsession?

Sorry, I should've been more clear.

I know that Active Junky (AJ) normally gives cash back at around 6-7% for Cabela's, but they had a special recently where they bumped it up to 10% cash back (temporarily, went back down to the normal rate).

Normally, AJ gives back 4% for Brownell's. Does AJ or any other referral site (e.g. Lemoney, Swagbucks) ever do these one-off, higher rate specials/promotions for Brownell's?

I'm just getting into this world of referral sites/cash back, am contemplating a purchase at Brownell's, and am wondering whether I should wait for an AJ 10% back special or something of that sort.

Brownell's was just 7% a short while ago for a few days. I only do AJ's and Swagbucks as most of my buying days are over. As mentioned above, check them all and pay attention to the fine print such as inactivity and payout. Make sure you use someone's referral so you both get something back when joining.

Turn off add blockers and delete browser cache. Close browser. Open browser log onto AJ site and click the Cabelas icon on AJ's site. Place the items you already knew in advance you want to buy into Cabelas cart and purchase.

AJ refunds by the method you setup in AJ, such as your paypal account. These refunds are every 3 months.

I don't know how to do any of this on an android or Apple 'device', I use a computer.

After your Cabela's cart is full go back to Active Junky and click on Cabela's again to open a new window. From this new window, proceed to check out.

For me, the link between AJ and Cabelas would get dropped sometimes while I was filling my cart. Once the link is broken, AJ no longer gives you the credit. That is why I go back to AJ and redo the link just before checking out. You can fill in everything, like gift cards and Cabela's bucks, and just before you "submit the order" reestablish the link between AJ and Cabela's.
