New Beretta 1301 Tactical shotguns for $650-ish dollars.

Beretta appears to be introducing a new version at SHOT, so online retailers are currently blowing out the current model for $650ish dollars. Normally this shotgun retails for about a grand.

Note: Buds advertises the price as a grand, but will sell for $664 if you price match.

If you want a pretty well kitted out semi auto blaster with a decent reputation, it'll be hard to find a better value. The only caveat is the shell release issue ( google it, if you are unaware ), but that can be easily fixed via the aftermarket.

Was going to change another part, or two, for 922(r) compliance issues....but others told me that the compliance issues are for importers/sellers, not the end user. What did you hear?

922(r) technically affects both importers/sellers and the end user. Its don't ask, don't tell. No one has ever been charged with a 922(r) compliance issue because its virtually 100% impossible to prove, majority of parts for many platforms, made in USA or not, aren't stamped with a "Made in xxxxxx" or any kind of identifying mark at all.

Planning to order one, as soon as I find a FFL with decent out of state transfer prices near Thousand Oaks.
Update: Found a FFL, pulled the trigger and ordered one from TSS. Now I got to save up to order a Taudev thin guard for $9, Nordic +2 for $100,and Mesa picatinny + side shell holder for $100. This puts me at $1k out the door.
