American Eagle rebate sent certified mail

I sent out my 2nd American Eagle rebate certified mail first class. I've been tracking it and it seems to be at the local post office awaiting for AE to come sign for it. Has anyone who sent in AE rebates experienced this?

I haven’t, but was planning on it... this might change my mind now. I thought I read on the rebate form to send standard mail, and was going to triple check before sending mine.

My first rebate which I received took 12 weeks. I foolishly cut out all the little UPC CODES from each and every box so my 5.7mm ammo boxes now all look retarded.

The rebate company did not acknowledge receiving it till 6 weeks after mailing (it was stuck in Pending verification as I did the pre-rebate registration which is suppose to speed things up). I sent several nasty messages to them and to Federal Customer Service since everyone here was averaging 6 weeks from mailing to check and they said they had not received it for 6 weeks. Then after acknowledging they received it after sending a picture of what I mailed .... it took another 6 weeks as it was stuck in processing.

I currently have another one stuck at pending verification on one mailed Nov 29.

Not sure why I have such poor luck compared to members here. The post office can be slow but I know it does not take four weeks to receive.

I just wish they would be honest, if it takes those slow short bus graduates 12 weeks then they should state this in there literature ..... as you get worried (and pissed off a bit) that they are trying to rip you off after the 6-8 weeks has passed and there is no check.

I sent my rebate submission to Federal by USPS Priority mail with tracking and delivery confirmation. You don't want to send anything to these guys that requires signature confirmation. It will only delay the process. I am sure they do not want to sign for every submission.

Isn't there a website to submit upc codes for the rebate?

Just be patient, I've sent all my rebates certified mail because it's the cheapest way to get tracking and haven't had a problem.
On Nov. 20th I mailed three more rebates using certified mail which arrived on Nov 24th. They were pending verification until Dec. 15th when I got an email saying they had received them and are processing. If all goes like last time I should be getting my check in a week or two.

There is, but it generates a UPC bar code to be mailed with your receipt and physical UPC codes cut from each box or carton.

Thanks, can we use the bar code on the box from the case or do we have to cut off from each 50 rnd box? Also is there an online only submission option or does it have to be mailed in?

If you submitted online ahead of sending in the documents, you can check status. If its still in pending verification, they have not logged them in yet. Mine was taking longer then the ones I submitted early summer so I called. Everyone is sending them in now ahead of the dead line, so they are beyond slammed.

When they do log them in, you will get an email indicating they received your submission. The one I sent in November just received that email a couple days ago. So they are at least 4 weeks of backlog for mail to be entered....at least.

I have a second that I sent in at the same time that has yet to be entered and is showing pending verification.

I send mine regular mail. No issues. I fill out the form using the upc on each individual box and then only send them the box upc. Worked two times so far. Waiting for my 2 other I sent this month
