Norma Tac 22 on sale at C's

Believe it or not, for only $32.49 per brick. And that doesn't even include those incentives available at our disposal

Bleep, I just might have to break down and order a few. That comes out to be $26 a brick with 18% gift cards and 2% AJ.

Fishi, you should know by now that there's always a good deal, sometimes a better deal, coming along down the road. If you continue to buy ammo, then you should always have a least a couple gc's on hand, and when they are gone, get a couple more.

You don't need to buy a gazillion rounds. Just a few "feel good" rounds at great prices, like the Norma deal. I'm thinking of getting three bricks and one IMI 223 at $6.29 to put me over the free ship. I'll use one of my gift cards.

This will feed my "ammo habit" and for the price, I'll feel good. Too bad these feelings don't last longer.

CS, there also is a 300-round ammo can of Norma Tac 223 on sale at 109.99 which isn't that bad.

It's funny, I was just thinking over the weekend how the Norma 22s have not been on sale for a few months. I was like I'm glad I bought a bunch of them last spring when they were on sale at 39.99 plus the $5 mail-in rebate (with purchase of ten bricks which is $50 total). This current sale obviously is an even better deal with less hoop to go through

Yep. Who says Bass Pro doesn't have good ammo prices. As I've posted before, when they have a sale on 22lr ammo, it's usually as good or better than C's. No bells and whistles though, at least not for me. C's never had this puppy 50% off.

Yes, that Norma 223 can has been up for a few days now. I don't need any and at that price, I know it will be better down the road. That's the usual sale price and you are paying for the can as when the 20 round boxes go on sale, they are always cheaper.

I just can't pull the trigger on the Norma Tacs as I am stuff with it and other 22lr. However, I'm waiting for the dog to finish his breakfast then I'm gonna to pull a few triggers at the range this morning. A cool, calm, cloudless sky day today.

                  Have a good one.

My stack of CCI Stds is way down, so I picked up one brick with a gift card. Great price.

Yeah I held out with my last batch until a few weeks ago. Was really waiting for these but I got on such a good (they messed up and doubled my order without a cost increase) deal of 11k 22lr I that I decided I was happy enough. But damn does my Ruger American Rimfire like these!

Hows this compare to CCI SV in terms of accuracy? Ive been buying the Aguila cause i see very little difference in accuracy between it and CCI SV.

Is this Norma TAC more awesome than CCI SV?

You'll have to ask your guns. Only they can tell you. For my guns, because of batch variations, Norma can out shoot CCI sv and vice versa. However, in the long run, the Norma works better than the CCI for me.

I don't shoot taco, so I can't comment on them.

In my experience, which is all with target pistols at 15 to 25 yd, Normas are very slightly more accurate than CCI std or Aquila. The main reason I use more CCI's is the greasy handling characteristics of the Normas. The reason I use CCI Std more than Aguila Std is the slightly stronger recoil of the Aguilas. I won't complain about 22 LR recoil, but it does make a difference on rapid fire pistol.

I've only ever purchased mini mags, i dont shoot a lot of .22s because I only had 1 .22 rifle. Now that I have 4, I should probably start looking at something a little cheaper than mini mags. Are these comparable? Not too worried about accuracy, just don't want to deal with jamming and reliability issues.

I also just picked up a walther p22, I hear those are picky with ammo. Anyone run the Normas through a p22?
