I have used and tested Barnes ammo (vortex) and it is some of the most accurate factory ammo made in 44mag (220gr) and 357mag (140gr) in my pistols... The semi-auto rounds you have posted I haven't tested out,, but I would not be shy about trying them out at all if carrying a semi while hunting... Approved copper and Barnes brand should be a winner...
Magtech makes copper semi-auto loads and they are good to go,,, but I'm not sure if they are kali approved...
Thanks for posting.... Cheers... -
I tried to use the Paypal gift card at checkout..there doesn't seem to be a way to make it work. I used the link from OP to buy a $50 card.. but the result didn't provide a gift card # that Cabela's seems to need. Has anyone else tried this that could lend some expertise on how to check out using that Paypal thing?
Edit: never mind, I figured it out. When you check out, you select the "apply discounts" option, then "gift card". For the gift card number that Cabela's wants, You use the 7-digit "code" that you get from Paypal, and where Cabela's wants a "code", you use the 6-letter PIN that you get from PayPal.Last edited by wbunning; 07-01-2017, 7:03 PM.Comment

I picked up some .40 140gr. I hike regularly in the Condor no-lead area, and carry a .40 cal most of the time. Might as well give the rangers one less thing to ding me for :-). 140gr is pretty light stuff, but I suppose if I dumped a full mag into something it would slow it up a bit. Let's see.. in Ca a full mag is what now, 3? 5? I forget ;-)Comment
