If you buy their plated bullets, and reload old cases, you can make a round for $0.13. So, if you order the ready-made ammo here, an additional nickle gets you the brass to reload, and pays someone else to do the labor for you. Not bad.Comment

13cpr is not efficient reloading. i make my 9s for a nickel. with great deals like the OP shared why bother reloading for 13cpr?Comment

In the federal deals thread, you blasted the OP for posting it, stating you can reload for .13 cents I believe.
Yet in this thread, you acknowledged that you can reload for a .05 (which I'd love for you to expand upon ) but then talk down to someone (which you seem to always do) that they aren't reloading efficently but give props to the OP of this thread.
What happened to your #masterracereloader ?
Why do you feel the need to belittle everyone? Why not stick to comments about the topic at hand? Maybe say "thanks OP for the link".
Stop thread crapping in the deals section. Keep it in OT if you must post your nonsense.
And yes, I realise I am partially thread crapping in the OP thread but it seems everyone is tired of you doing it in multiple threads. I know I am.Comment

You seem to do everything better than everyone. You seem to flip your position on things as well.

by the way i also complemented OP on a great deal so im guessing you have the day off tomorrow and felt the need to get involved because you had nothing better to do. Snowflakes please do yourselves the favor and hit the ignore button if you easily get "tired"Comment

$.13/rnd IS efficient reloading for somene who doesn't have access to cheap lead for casting. A saving of $.05/rnd amounts to saving $50 on a thousand rounds of FM plated ammo. To some, that could be significant. I personally will load my own when I'm using plateds.
As far as "why bother", that's kind of the point I was making. One CAN make ammo better than factory by hand loading. I was merely pointing out that, even for a handloader who uses Xtreme plated bullets, the $0.18 isn't a bad deal.
P.S. I cast a lot of my own bullets, and my 9mm 124gr cartridges cost $.07/rnd. I have to buy lead, so a 124gr bullet costs me $.02 counting lube or powder coat, powder $.02 and primer $.03. Cast bullets don't work on my progressive rig which I use when I don't have time to cast, or when I want 1000 rounds at one sitting, so I use plated bullets in those instances.Last edited by wbunning; 07-04-2017, 7:58 AM.Comment
