What other fees would be added to that? Do FFL charge a transfer fee on top of DROS?

out of state transfers ffl's can charge however much they want, also they will collect ca tax on the sale. so it's best to check with your ffl before you purchase. i think turners charges some crazy amount for out of state transfers.

Last time I shipped something to my FFL, OC Armory in Laguna Hills, they charged $60 which included: transfer fee, background check and dros. plus tax

I just bought my second 9mm Shield. I couldn't resist the price. I can have an upstairs gun in my safe and one in my down stairs safe. Yes I have kids. So the math is $320+$45 transfer+$29 shipping-$12 discount+$25 DROS+$28 sales tax-$75rebate=$360 out the door. $30 cheaper than Turner's out the door price.

Turners is in a league of its own with receiving out of state stuff, I think they wanted $120 plus dros last time i asked. Average rate is $60 for out of state , I use gunfighter tactical because they charge $50 and they are pretty cool people.

yeah, i like gft, i'm gonna take my shield there when i pick up from the gun range and have them install the apex carry trigger kit with the flat face trigger.
