I like to keep on eye on prices on Amazon and every once in a while I find prices too good to be true. Has anyone tried buying one of these items lately? Did the vendor follow through, and what was the condition of the items??

This is what happened to me yesterday when I bought a few items on Amazon all from the same vendor (not the one mentioned above), a newbie, it turns out. I bought some ear protection, ammo crates, and Shoot N C targets that were considerably less than normal. Once I made the purchase, it the listing disappeared. Even got expedited shipping free. Well, my order was just shipped by Priority Mail from Seattle. A little strange as I ordered 4 ammo crates so the box should be on the large size. We'll see.

The first item shows Larue as the seller and fulfilled by Amazon. No issue there. The just launched seller I'd stay away from that gamble

Orders protected by Amazon are protected in 2 ways...

If Amazon is the seller...or fulfills...you're covered and will get a refund to the CC card used...if you need

If the seller...or if fulfilled by OTHER than Amazon...if you get scammed (I have been once)...and the seller doesn't respond or stand up...you'll get a GIFT CARD from Amazon. Of course if you're gonna spend again anyway...that works

You could of course file a complaint with your CC Company

In the case where I was scammed...the shipping tracking info was for an item the scammer ordered from a third party for himself and of course it never delivered to me

Moral...if it looks to good to be true...trust your gut...it is

NEVER buy from an Amazon 3rd party seller with zero or only a few ratings (they can get an accomplice to rate for them)

ALWAYS read several of the reviews for 3rd party sellers

As you can see in the attached screen shot from one of the items listed by the OP, there is a scam artist, Jendas whose ratings reflect shipping and selling scams
Edit: there is no way one should buy from seller "dperez" either

I'm sure it's too good to be true, however, it's worth a shot.

People spend way more energy buying discount gift cards and combining with coupon codes and using AARP and AAA membership discounts.

I trust Amazon to make it right if it's fraud.

Watch out for those sellers with very low prices and "just launched". They are fake. You will never get your product. You will end up filing a claim with Amazon a month or longer later.
