The best I can come up with is $7.61 a box for the 9MM 115GR FMJ/BLAZER when buying 14 boxes using all the bells and whistles. That's delivered if no tax. That's 15.2 cpr delivered at C's.

you guys seem to keep assuming everyone has a cashback account, then also discounted gift cards.

you need to stop that and compare base price to base price for deals, then those with the cards and accounts can make it better for themselves.

as for the aluminum, i use to run it almost exclusively since it was easily available and cheap. OC Indoor Range in Brea and Prado Range in Chino Hills has no problems with it when i use to shoot it. Since i haven't seen these on sale for the last 2 years i already ran through my supply and now i'm stocked on brass stuff. if i didn't already just place an order of ammo I would jump on this deal.

And i loved using these too since i didn't feel guilty for not picking back up the empty casings to recycle like i do with brass.

Any cons or issues with al cases? Never tried them before and always stuck with new brass.

Think Blazer Brass in Aluminum cases...

Cons: Not reloadable or not recommended to be reloaded. Some ranges don't allow it.

Pros: Relatively lower price point than brass. Made by CCI in the U.S.A. Similar if not the same ballistics as Blazer Brass.

They just look cool (subjective) and more peace of mind versus using steel case ammo (also subjective).

If these are unsafe and unreliable ammo, CCI won't be making them anymore.

After several years of talking about purchasing items, including ammo, at Cabela's, it has to be assumed that we always use 20% gift cards and a rebater when we quote a price. That's what we are starting to call "all the bells and whistles". If you are a regular customer, why wouldn't you use these?? If you don't, it's not worth buying much of anything at Cabelas, as most of their non sale items can be had cheaper elsewhere. Even their on sale items aren't that great until you add "the bells and whistles".

Other codes are usually given as they become available, like the 176xxxx codes. These have been around for quite some time. Also, it's not rocket science to find the codes. Slickguns has them listed as does wikiarms.

But gift cards are pretty much the only reason to shop at Cabela's. It's the default mode. Their stuff is priced with the GCs factored in. This'll probably stop being relevant in 2018 anyway...

Not at all. I'll still be using their gift cards for non ammo purchases. With GCs you can still get better deal at Cs on tons of merchandise. Just recently got a GoPro 5 black for $220 from 400. Buying reloading supplies beats any online store I've looked at as well. As long as GCs are still available for 20% off I'll keep buying. And if you're using the Deals thread I'm also assuming you're using them or have been convicted to start using them when we list prices on ammo
