Nice deal. I have to think they would have been $350 if the Hildabeast took over. -
Not if your a democrat banned by common sense law. (LOL) Yes they can I don't know who has cheapest fees in sfv.Comment

Depends on where you live. Cheapest I can get locally is $75 before tax and DROS. If I buy 2, it would cost $150 + $11 tax + $25 DROS = $186
This is $70 + ~$20 shipping + $5 tax + $50 transfer and DROS = $145
If a local shop has them for $50 or less, then it's not even a question.Comment

these are great lowers. its a shame FFLs in Nor Cal charge so much.
this FFL in Santa Rosa (Rinkor) charges $70 PLUS DROS! I stopped doing any business there when they started pulling this BS. Except any PPT i have, because they are forced to do this for $10, so EVERY ppt I get I try and make them do it. lol.
I would love to support local, but not when local becomes totally unreasonable...Last edited by Maximus924; 03-30-2017, 9:16 AM.Comment

Last time I dros'ed at OC Armory it was $60 if it came in from FFL or private party. Add tax if it's from another FFLsign up @ activejunky for cash back and we both get $10 after your first purchase.

$40, or even $50 plus dros is tolerable. but $95 to transfer a gun if they don't sell it, is BS in my book. $20 of their fee is "storage" - which they CANT charge for FTF transfers.
It shouldn't be legal to charge storage on top of an FFL transfer fee. PART OF THE FEE should already include storage.
Luckily for me, they are not the only shop in town, and I can simply take my business elsewhere. That doesn't mean I am not going to bad-mouth them any chance I get though....
DROS transferes are such an easy way to make money. $40 or $50 for 5-8 minutes of paperwork, on two occasions? Plus it gets people in your store to maybe buy other guns, ammo or accessories, gun safety certificates... to overcharge and drive customers away is a bad business plan...Last edited by Maximus924; 03-30-2017, 11:48 AM.Comment

They have to pay for insurance, extra space/safe, employees, lease, electricity, probably another extra set of eyes to make sure the paperwork is all done correctly.Visit www.npfreedom.com for discounted firearm parts and accessoriesComment
