Its not threaded like a conventional upper , that big round block towards the front is part of the receiver and non removable. Its a cool concept but sucks that its proprietary to aero

They're selling out of these ASAP so the Gen 2 handguards will sell.

They added a QD on both sides of the new HG's and scalloped the edges for finger grips on the sides on the Gen 2's.
