In San Diego a Glock 17 is very easy to find around 515, so not so great. I too was hoping police trade ins haha.

Police trade in arent worth it for me

            Glock 17 - from aim 330 to 350
            Mags- 50 -60
            Transfer- 40
So total 420 to 450 for a police trade in
Saving 35 to 65 isn't worth it for me.

              $50-60 mags?!

Do you buy magical Glock mags? Someone in the marketplace was just selling new in package G17 mags for $20 ea or 3/$50

Transfer is $35 max, my local FFL is $30...

One could be out the door for ~$410. That's over $125 in savings

Where are you able to buy a $399.99 new Glock from?

I think he meant 50-60 for 2-3 new 10-round mags to replace the large-cap mags that you won't be getting on the trade in. (that could include shipping for the mags)

$35 max on the transfer? must be nice. you do know that that is not the norm and many dealers are $50+ for the transfer fee plus the $25 DROS fee?

                      $333 glock from aim.
                      $40 transfer
                      $373 + tax + dros
+50-60 for 2 mags from glock store

why wouldn't I just buy new for $485 + tax + DROS? $40-50 more for brand new.

                          Cheap glocks

Not only that, the finish on the slide generally looks like sh*t. I'll happily spend the extra $50-$100.
