    Christmas CCI

Glen's Army & Navy Store has the Christmas CCI's on sale for $3.19. Don't let the price fool you, as the shipping will bring it up to $4 if you only order one brick. For me in FL, three bricks are 7.5 cpr delivered which I consider decent, about what I pay at Wally World out the door. Can be had for a little cheaper from C's using gift cards and SB. Still not a bad deal. I've ordered twice from Glen's and the ammo arrived in good condition, well packed.

PS Glen's cardboard box CCI SV's are also on sale for $3.29/50.

You can add some to your cart and get an estimate of the shipping charge to your city and zip code.

Now try 30, 1500 rounds. The cost per round (cpr) should down down substantially.

Right now if you put 31 of them in your cart at Cabela's, with the Jingle code and gift cards, they come out to around $3.47 each, delivered. Kinda hard to beat.

They also have the 100rd SV for 8.99, slightly cheaper, I did 17 with coupon and gift cards, I think that came out to 6.2 cpr, plus 2% back from AJ, If I did it right

They are over a buck cheaper for the same amount.

Bleep, I knew I should've waited until after Christmas to order a couple bricks from them. I had a feeling that they would be on sale then. Why didn't I listen to myself? Oh well, it was the Swagbucks deal that got the better of me.

Oh, I had a nice surprise when I came to pick them up in store and found mine didn't come in two bricks but rather 20 individual boxes with a freaking C's order sticker applied on each of them!

I had this same issue last Christmas season when some of their seasonal packers (I am assuming) would just dump all individual boxes out of manufacturer's carton and discard it. I had to search for a few boxes that are close in size that wouldn't take too much space in my ammo cabinet.

I know some of us here have had this similar issue too. I plan to let C's know how I felt but not until sometime after New Year. I am sure they're busy processing Christmas returns and my "suggestion" would just end up somewhere in a dark, dusty place never to be found again.

That reminds me. The Norma 223's that I got yesterday were really packed nice. Shrink wrapped then wrapped in the large bubble, bubble wrap.
