Jake asked me if I've seen anyone of these as He wants to get the LR model. I was surprised to see them this price at Midway. I'll have to think about it. I really want a little more powerful one as I have quite a few of the Diamondback HP in 1" tube at 16X. I have one of the Viper 6.5 X 20 that we got about 6 months?? ago, but since it's on 30 mm, I haven't yet mounted it on anything. I was looking at it again this morning and decided I might get another. They are also $329. I think the the HS is a better scope though.

I bought two scopes from Midway last year at this time when they had the Weaver Classic 6-24 or whatever on a great sale. I'm not fond of Midway, but I frown on places like Optics Planet, as they never seem to have a good deal themselves. You have to make an effort to get them down to what the others are dealing. Doesn't make sense to me.

I bought my Viper PA 6.5-20 two years ago when Midway had it on sale. Excellent scope for a long range hunter or precision AR.

I did upgrade to a HSLR 6-24 and yes its a much better scope than the PA.
