The rebate that I mailed late April never came even though Rem claimed it was shipped in August. Rem issued a new check a month later and I received it in October. That's nearly 6 months. The rebate I mailed early July also came in October. That's over 3 months. Still, they were for something like $350.

Unless it's a "super" deal, I'm not interested.

No, because it's a leaked Black Friday Ad for a regional sports store, so what you see there is what we know atm. It means that a rebate is planned for $5 a box of Remington UMC Handgun Ammo for sometime around Black Friday or on Black Friday, but we don't know how many boxes are the limit or any other details. It also means Remington probably won't do a rebate for Rifle Ammo until next year.

We also don't know what sales prices will be like after the election... but there may be some great prices to stack at Cabelas, especially with discount gift cards.

It's just a heads up.

Remington can go eat crap. I did the holiday rebate last year and it took 6 months to get the check. I guess getting paid late is better than not getting paid at all but I wont fall for the rebate nonsense again

This is how MIR works. I don't mind lending them $200 for 6 mo with no interest, if it ultimately gives me 2K ammo with 30%-50% discount.

The rifle rebate last year was $2.50 on a box of 20, $5 on a box of 50, and I forget what it was, $25 for the UMC??. I bought the max of 223's in 20's, 50's and a couple of the UMC's. I believe I bought both at C's and they were also on sale. Also used gift cards but not AJ as I didn't think it was a big deal then. Boy was I wrong about that.

I submitted my form for the last Remington ammo rebate.
Their instructions are vague and can be misunderstood.
I got $100 rebate on my order after about 90 days.
Take your time and follow the instructions carefully and you should be good for the $rebate$.

They are terrible. I sent mine with all upc's taped to the form (outer and inner). They tried to say I didn't include any. Luckily I photocopied everything since I heard about how they do things. They messed up again and delayed. Finally got the second check 4 months later after several phone calls. IMO, not worth the effort.

If ammo sales go crazy cuz of hillary then good luck even being able to find any remy for sale during the rebste period.

Im not sure if there will be craziness though, i feel like its already been baked in.
