Are you sure that doesn't mean they don't pay cashback when BUYING gift cards?

Because what it specifically says is: "Gift card purchases do not qualify for cash back." That means if you are buying gift cards, no cash back - which is standard everywhere because they don't give cash back when buying cash, which is what a gift card is.

When a cashback site doesn't pay on gift card redemption, it usually says "Cash Back not available on gift card purchase or redemption"

A lot of cash back sites actually disqualify rebates if a gift card is used as a payment. It's in the terms and conditions. Usually it goes through anyway but if there's an issue and the rebate doesn't show up, the site won't get credited if it's manually audited.

I was just going to ask that. It seems to me that came up before here and it was 0% on the purchase of C's gift cards, not the redemption of them.

        Anyone know for sure?? Thanks.

You'll get the 15% off from buying the gift cards and hopefully what you want will be on sale and C's also will have another 10% off. The AJ just won't be 6% or more. That's all. It'll still be the cheapest ammo you can find anywhere. By that I mean, for example, who, right now, has the 223 Fed AE for around 27 cpr?? That's on sale, using gift card, and 6% for the Hun rebate.

Thanks for the info. I figured this would be across the board for all cashback sites.

Did you pay with giftcard by chance? And just to confirm, this was not rimfire ammo? Thanks!

Norma Tac .223. Yup, paid with a $100 gift card, so my VISA portion would be only $4.82.
                  2% from $104.82 is $2.10; whereas $2.10 out of $4.82 is 43%.

So, the good news is that HO gives a rebate on the entire purchase despite me using a gift card for the majority of the purchase
But the bad news is that they only give a 2% cashback on ammo

You guys killed the goose that lays the golden eggs the last time C's had that 10% off, on sale, 12% AJ .................................................. ..

                        I contributed to it too.

Actually, at their current sale price it would come to 30 cents per round for me (including tax) which still ain't bad; however, as you probably knew I got a couple cases at 24 cpr during their quadfecta around Labor Day. That would be a $60 difference in additional saving.

As another has mentioned, Huntinobession is now 2% too. Who know, this might just be a temporary thing?

Cabela's current promotion (free shipping) is set to expire tonight, so maybe they will have a discount promotion coming up soon? At least that is what I am hoping for.

Yes, I bought a bunch then too. Yep, it might just be a temporary thing too. After all, the holidays are coming.

The $49 and free shipping is now due to go bye bye on the 16th according to slickguns. Right now, it still works for me. 16BARGAIN.

It woud not surprise me one bit if one day AJ shuts down and absconds with everyone's unpaid cash back.
