Yep, that was posted in the PA deal thread here before, seems like many people don't like the ret on it compared to the BDC. That being said, it was super tempting.

If the 4-12 ships, it will replace my 3x9 nikon on the AR, I bet it won't ship at that price though.

Why wouldn't it ship?? It's been advertised everywhere. C's doesn't make a habit of not shipping advertised items. Well, except for 22lr ......... and ...........

Really, should be no problem. I posted this in AA when it saw it this morning. Like you, I went to the two other places you mentioned to compare prices. I have 5-6 Vortex scopes that I bought at good prices, both at C's and Amazon. Most of them were the Diamondback HP in the higher magnifications. Like them all.

In case you and everyone else here don't know about this, you can use Amazon's The Tractor to check prices that Amazon has used to sell their products. Link is below. Below that is for the scope. It's lowest offered price was $199 back in January of 2015. You can also sign in and set a "buy" price that if and when the item falls at or below that price, Amazon will send you an email. It works. I've used it for many things. Costs nothing.

PS If any of you are on the fence about this, it won't last long at that price.

What's the final price you ask?? $88.80 with gift card and AJ at 6%. Tax where applicable.

Bleep, I can't get off this subject. The link for You Tube is for the V-plex not the Dead hold BDC which is much nicer I think.

Here's a pretty good review from another forum.

          Notice, his price was $300.

Allows you to fine tune focus according to distance of the target.

                        Vortex 4-12x40 AO

                        Wow, what a GREAT deal!

I purchased the non-AO version for $148, shipped, a little over a month ago. [http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...php?t=1239722]. My only consolation is that seller unilaterally refunded $15 as a goodwill gesture because it took 11 days from order to receipt. That was nice.

The within posted deal is certainly better, considerably less cost and comes with AO! Go for it!

Thanks OP, in for one. Had one bought at OP, works well on my AR .556.
