If you play the game right then you can get it slightly cheaper at Cabela's with their current promotion - it almost seems like 29 cpr is the current lowest "normal" for brass cased 45 ACP. Probably a situation which will not last long in the current political environment.

Case of 1,000 shipped from SGAmmo (a source I love and use often, BTW) comes to 29.5 cpr.

Buy 7 boxes of Herter's (made by S&B, brass cased) and it comes to 29.1 cpr. Want/need more? Just put through a separate second/third/fourth order for 7 boxes: Gets you the best price with the current incentives of $10 off plus free shipping for orders over $100.

So I don't have to buy a whole case at once to get essentially the same price for essentially the same ammo.
