AR9mm complete pistol upper Karri's guns

I ordered one of these and i have to say it was by far the best customer service ever, emails prompt and going above and beyond to make a customer happy. When i receive it later in the week, I'll give a range report. No tax and free shipping made it the lowest i could find.

Thinking about getting the PSA upper. Seems like a good price at $300. Anyone have experience with the KG or PSA uppers?

Here's the problem, unless you have lowers(80% or SSE from when you could) The PSA won't work with the promag magwell adapter. You need their lower only for the PSA to work. SO i guess for now you could do a rifle but not a pistol from PSA legally. I have the 9mm conversion kit from PSA for a carbine and love it, I wanted a 9mm pistol also. The one from karris guns works with the magwell adapters. I will be converting one of my SSE pistols from 556 to 9mm.

Why won't PSA upper work with colt magwell adapter?

As they explained to me, its a proprietary design and won't work with a magwell adapter. If it would, i would have bought the PSA because its cheaper. If you read the description, it says. To work with PSA lowers.

Is it because of their (PSA) bolt doesn't work with magwell adapters? Karri's Guns uses the PSA hybrid bolt in their uppers, at least mine came with one. Have a KAK magwell adapter in my lower and it works with the KG upper.

Weird. I've got a PSA upper that has been flawless for well over 1000 rounds of 9mm with Colt mags and a PSA magwell adapter, and another several hundred rounds on the same upper and bolt with a homemade Glock magwell lower, also with no problems.

Well, i called a PSA tech again and got a totally different answer-GRRRR. He said they are told to say it does not work to sell PAS stuff, but it does because he owns several that do. It pisses me off, i would have bought from PSA, oh well, no sense crying over spilled milk...

Weird. I've got about 20 of their LPK's I bought when they were on sale for $29 with free shipping, have used at least a dozen of them, and have had not a single problem with any of them.

A side note for the build, with 9mm upper not having gas tube, I could use a wooden block as sled and more wood dow inside the upper and able to build a single shot pistol legally, correct?
