No Sam's Clubs near me but I just bought one online as a guest. Did not have to pay the 10% guest fee, but did have to pay $5.58 shipping. Bummer, but still looks like a great value. I was really inspired to see how some guys had arranged the insides. I am planning to set it up for four pistols and 10 mags. I don't often take more in one range trip so its the perfect size.

Thanks I was just there on Sunday and two of their employees couldn't find them. Do you mind sharing where they were located in the store?

If you can't find them on the floor, give the SKU Item # 483489 to any one of the employees with a handheld scanner and they can tell you. Where I went, the employee had to go "pull" it from their storage areas because they didn't have any on display.

I printed up one of those handy single day passes and went down to the El Camino Blvd. location in Sacramento. I picked up three. Their were maybe 6-8 left on the pallet. I do not know if they have more in the back because I didn't ask.

I'm already regretting not getting more. I might go back tomorrow and see if they have one or two left.

Thanks for the heads up OP. These are actually quite nice. They aren't pelican cases but they are damn near the next best thing at a crazy low price.

I don't like open cell foam for gun cases, unless you use some form of gun sock. Open cell foam is abrasive and will wear down your finish. Especially on safeties and slide stops that protrude out the side a bit.

Just a little warning. I have a similar case and was kind of pissed off that after just a few trips to the range I could see polished areas on my pistols.

OEM gun cases come with closed cell foam for a reason

Where is a good place to get the "closed" cell foam to replace these? It would be great to replace them since they are quite rough.

Caseclub.com has them....but usually they sell custom cut and it's a little pricey but couldn't hurt to ask.
