Frequent Flyer Miles = Cabela's Gift Cards

Hey guys and gals, there may be some gun money you can free up if you haven't thought of it.

My VISA lets me trade 100 miles for $1 in Cabela's gift cards. So 5000 miles = $50 in Cabela's gift cards, 10,000 miles - $100, etc. Yours may too.

Gander Mountain is unfortunately not on the menu for me. Neither are MidwayUSA, Brownells, etc. Maybe they are too "gunny". Didn't check for Sportsman's Guide, I never liked their as-delivered prices. Check with your own credit card company whose gift cards are available.

Now, couple this idea with some sites that lets you buy frequent flyer miles, you may get some discount on the gift cards. Somebody else please look into this and post up your findings.

Don't tell your spouse. After all, Paris will always be there.
