Only difference is the rear lug is cutout? Does that just help get the milling started?

It doesn't, it helps test fitment with the lower for the most part.

          I guess I missed $10 shipping.

Huh? Did you want to say test fitting to an upper? IME, true for raw forgings and not so true for the anodized. A non-issue when milling out the rear shelf. I do so very time and, raw or anodized, material gets removed depth-wise and around the entire contour.

Also, the cutout area could be used to start milling from, it's just not advisable. Especially if unfamiliar with the process or tools used. Far better strategies exist.

Still in stock. Engraved as well.

I just sent a text to my FFL, expect a few lowers.
"Why did you buy lowers? We have Andersons in stock, $60 your cost."
But these are Frankenstein lowers. With the monster's face on them.

That rear shelf is such a big help if it's already milled out, as it is here.

Not sure how difficult getting to that area with a router jig, but with a drill press and jig, that is a very difficult area to mill out since your end mill can't ride the jig because of interference from the Buffer Tube area, and you end up having to freehand that area, resulting in some interesting use of JB Weld if you get too cute.

                Quote from Cooper:

"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."

You know what else is milled out? Everything. It's a 100% lower.

I think everyone pays $60, but my cost includes tax and background check.

Good point, I had forgotten about those clearance issues. Yet another vote for router.

Simple plunge cut and you're rockin, dl=0. Frankly, the overall process is optimized w/ router. I use dp for front pocket/pin/selector holes. Laminate router handles what's left.

Still in stock n still forty bux. I'm going to take what I deserve |-)

How do TM lowers compare to Anderson? Any better or worse?

Would also love know how their lowers stack up as well.
