I've been interested in the mini 14 for awhile, but don't have the funds. I've noticed Big 5 puts it on sale for this price at least one week out of each month.

What would be awesome is if it were on sale and one of their rare coupons that doesn't exclude firearms came out.

If that stupid bullet button ban passes, then this rifle will be a no-go in CA.

You could still load the fixed mag from the top though.

No bullet button required for this model. But yes because it does not have a fixed magazine it will suddenly become an assault weapon.

If I put a Corvette name plate on a Honda CRX does it magically have 500HP?
