Good find. Dumb question, but at the bottom of the rebate it says

"Receive $30 cash back when you purchase a qualifying Simmons riflescope or laser rangefinder that is equal to or greater than $49.95 (Original Retail Price)."

Will the rebat still work for a $35 scope on amazon?

Amazon shows the list price as $49.99 so you should be GTG. If for some reason Simmons does not honor the rebate then I would (I will) take it up with Amazon, their customer service has never let me down and always done right by me.

im a bit leery about this, system could be using the List Price of 49.99 to show the rebate form. When showing proof with invoice for the rebate, it doesnt meet the 49.95 or greater requirement.

edit: no go for me to save the hassle as Amazon isnt writing the check. on the rebate, clearly states 49.95 or more.

I chatted with Amazon's customer service reps online yesterday and asked them if they could provide me with a receipt that showed the original retail price so that I could mail that with my rebate. The said they would have to get back to me and do some investigating. Well last night they sent me an email and apologized for not being able to change the receipt and issued me a $30 Amazon credit. I as well saved a print screen so I printed that out and sent it with my completed rebate form. If it works out and I get the rebate then I will have just made $25.02 and got a free scope.

I had to call in to Amazon to get them to honor the rebate. Kind of a pain in the ***, but I got the money back. Everybody should remember to do this before the return period expires, in case anything goes wrong.
