Chase sapphir card 50,000 amazon points.

As if we all dont have enough credit cards as it is, but supposed you get 50,000 amazon points with this card. You guys think its possible to get the card for the points than cancel it?

Looks like it's worth checking into possibly. I think I might look into it, but on a chase website not that one you posted.

Of course. That was from an email I got. But I've bought stuff from that place before no problems. I almost want to sign up too but what's the catch?

After reading the fine print, it states that you have to spend 4000 bucks in 3 months to claim your points, then you can do whatever you want

We got the Chase card earlier this year for airline miles.
Different offer, but the catch was you had to spend about 4K over 6 months to get the bonus IIRC.

After I clicked on the link to apply it brings you to Chase chase page. I didn't see anywhere on the actual chase page anything about amazon, just frequent flier miles and the sort.

It would seem that you could buy $4000 in precious metal, then sell it and redeem your points.

I have a Chase Sapphire.. Yes you have to spend $4000 in 3 months to receive the bonus points. The Amazon "deal" is one of the worst ways to spend those points since you can get cash back at the same rate (1 cent per point)! The best way to spend the points are on travel because they redeem them with travel booking through Chase (1.25 cent per point).

Looks good for me.. I have a $3000 mountain bike I need to pick up and I could use the remainder on $1000 and added to a down payment for a car I'm purchasing next month.. Is this deal still good?

I use my chase rewards card for every monthly bill except for my mortgage, also use it for any store, gas or other purchases. I pay the full balance every month. I get hundreds of $$$ in rewards each year and dont paid a dime in interest. I also buy Costco gift cards 1k at a time, get the rewards off that and then get cash back from Costco with my membership when I spend it. There are lots of ways to work the system.

Are the points 50k points only good for travel? I don't care for travel.. I just want the cash back.
As stated above looking for a good card with the best cash back deal.

but you can get $500 cash back in your bank, use your sapphire card to buy anything you want at amazon and get points on that too! it's like point-ception
