    Quote from Cooper:

"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."

I have built on a couple of these, they really need to be duracoated or some similar coating.

They are resilient enough, with metal reinforcements in all the high-stress areas (more of a hybrid than a true composite lower), but the finish is very rough, basically milled composite.

I pre-ordered their new AR-10 lowers for $70 bucks, should be along in July I'm guessing. First order of business is to have it duracoated, which adds some to the price (bringing the cost closer to $50 which is what an Anderson costs), but half a pound (AR-15, more for AR-10) lighter.

Check out the torture test videos some guy did on his own for them - they seem good to go from my hands-on experience.

Why does anyone need or want a half pound AR?

If the answer is "cuz I can", I get that but what's the practical application?

What's the practicality of an AR pistol? Along with being grounds for the atf to attempt to look into banning m855. Just saying, complaining about a lighter receiver is the least of our issues.

Something about a 30$ rough plastic and brass lower just doesn't seem safe.

Like I said, the torture tests are impressive. They've been frozen, baked, driven over, tossed, hammered, yet still fire and eject mags.

The down-side, like I said, is that you have to duracoat it or some other finish - way too rough a finish for my tastes.

It's not the .223 that interests me for weight, it's the .308 lower they're making. I'm trying to get my AR-10 custom piston setup as light as I can get. It'll be interesting to see how it holds up, I plan to torture test the rat piss out of it.

Yes, It's a complete lower and therefore needs to be transferred at an FFL

Weird, can't seem to find their 80% section.

They need to start. This would immediately become the highest selling 80%er out there. At least the highest selling polymer 80. At this price and this quality

                            Because MURICA.

On a serious note, TNArms are G2G. The owner is great and communication for orders or support is fast.

I have two I'm picking up from my FFL this afternoon and ordered a duracoat kit off eBay (can within a can).

Next week when I'm home I'll deburr them and shoot and bake both of them, build, and post the final pictures here. Hoping the final product turns out nicely for a home-bake.
