It's funny how a simple post turns into the birth of a build and a sudden uptick in expenditures. I don't think this is going to work- "Happy Mothers Day- Do you like your new barrel?"
I am blaming all of this on the OP!

      Guilty!

      Happy (early) Mother's Day!

I'm going let my Mum try out the rifle. How's that?! I bet she's going to end up keeping it, and I'll wind up building another.

I'm using a CMMG conversion bolt on this barrel with a standard mil-spec charging handle. Taccom warns that the firing pin should sit back about 0.020" from the front edge of the bolt face. Otherwise it may peen and damage the barrel breech face.
I'm not having a glass of wine, I'm having SIX. It's called a tasting and it's classy.

anyone know if the front thread is the same as standard 5.56 mil spec? will mil-spec flash hiders or muzzle breaks work on this?

G sorry my phone reccently bricked but basically I have the light weight upper with the carbon fiber handguard. Standard ar-15 flash/muzzle break works. Mine(bought complete unit) shipped with std birdcage

Well it seems here he takes the barrel to a std upper so I would hope you could just chage the barrel on it? YMMV

I don't think it will work. Better call Taccom to check. Here's a pic I found on ARF.

            top is Chiappa
