But why give LEO scenarios at all if none of us are Leo? How would civilians know what to do?

We were not given scenarios to choose from.

I thought it was a cute over priced video game except you get tased when shot at. This experience made me want to seek out better instructors and facilities. Any recommendations?

Side note: my instructor was bad mouthing Greg Block (local CCW instructor) which I thought was unprofessional, especially since no one asked for her opinion.

    I hear you.

I think the ATM was realistic and is based off a real scenario. Sounds like you had a bad instructor. Steve was great and explained everything. I also went free but I would go back.

Law enforcement scenarios are probably because the machines are made for agencies primarily. Not because that's what Artemis chose. I think good instruction and feedback. Even though it was LEO scenarios Steve briefed first and said don't worry about the cop stuff. The debrief was based on decision making. Getting off the X is important whether CCW or a cop. The stuff made sense. I did well as far as all that but it was great to see myself and what I did.

I will say that while I'm not currently LEO I do leave Monday for an agency in Texas though.

I still think it's a valuable tool and it's not that expensive considering what ammo would cost you.

Maybe get Steve or a better instructor and ask for civilian scenarios.

    For 80 bucks I think it's a good tool.

Not a replacement for Force on Force but that's expensive and hard to get into.
