    Bushmaster A-3 Stripped Upper $49.99

Saw these laying around at brownells. Some of the reviews are a bit questionable, but I think it's mainly people who didn't read before they bought. Besides, brownells has a dang fine return policy.

Seems quality is an issue. Any feedback forms anyone that owns one?

Well I guess the metal and forging quality will be dependent on which forge this batch came out of. I forgot that most uppers (and lowers) are made by only a handful of forges. Hopefully bushmaster then sent them off to a good anodizing facility with good QC.

No way to know until I get it; I figured it couldn't be any worse than the ugly PSA blem that I got for $40; an Aero blem goes for $60 and anderson blems go for $45. This is supposed to be a non-blemished upper.

Either way, brownells will take care of me if I decide to return it...
