I like all the beef and chicken pasta entrees. I have not tried anything else (whey milk, cereals, eggs, etc...) They prepare easily with boiling water, but stir a few times and let them sit for at least 20 minutes.

        Thanks OP.
I just got two Wise Food ultimate 72 cans for $80/ea.
        Hopefully they are palatable.

          I like Mountain House better.
The Wise stuff in mostly vegetarian and the "Chicken" & "Beef" are usually TVP (soy).

Well, on the LAPG description they say "real meat" as a new update... I have not used them very long, but I believe it has always been meat for past couple years. I will check some labels from older stuff at home. Some of the stuff on their actual web page say "100% vegetarian" so maybe they make vegan meals too or they changed the lineup.

            Exciting New Updates and Changes:
            Real Meat in Pouches
Increased Calories - Ranging From 500 – 780 Calories Per Pouch
Increased Protein - As High As 34 Grams Per Pouch
New Pouch Design - Wider and Shallower Pouch for Easy Access to Food
            Taste is Even Better

I called wise and had them send me a free entree. I've only purchased mountain house before. I liked mountain House better, but with that said, I would choose price over the flavor until I increase my stores to a satisfactory level. Whichever is cheapest when I'm ready to buy is what I go with. They both get the job done.
